Sports

Sports Sports and Physical Education is an important part of the curriculum at Warwick Christian College. Our Health and Physical Education department provides a supportive environment where students can learn the necessary skills to further develop their sporting interest and abilities.
Warwick Christian College is a member school of CSSAQ (Christian School Sports Association Queensland). We regularly compete at inter-school tournaments in sports such as Volleyball, Netball, Futsal, and Swimming. We also compete in tournaments such as the Volleyball Queensland Schools Cup, the Bill Turner Cup (Soccer), WHA Primary Hockey Competition (Field Hockey), as well as the Country Classic Gala Days (Futsal, Netball, and Touch Football).
Students at the College also have the opportunity to compete in Southern Downs, Border Districts, Darling Downs, and Warwick All Schools Cross Country, Swimming, and Track and Field carnivals. Individuals students may trial for Southern Downs and Darling Downs teams for sports such as Rugby, Touch, Basketball, Cricket, AFL, Netball, Field Hockey, and Soccer.
The College facilitates Inter-House Athletic Carnivals, Swimming Carnivals and Cross Country competitions. There are also a variety of Inter-House competitions throughout the year in a range of sports.
At Warwick Christian College we believe that sport is an excellent way for students to not only develop physically, but maintain a healthy lifestyle and learn values of excellence, perseverance and goodness as they compete with one another.
